In addition, we process connection and identification data from your web browser in order to display content tailored to you.

3. Processing of Personal Information

When you visit our company’s website, we process and temporarily store various types of data. 5. Legal Basis for Data Processing

The legal basis for the processing of your personal information depends on the purpose of the data processing.

5.1 Technical Management of the Website

The legal basis for the processing of personal data for the purposes mentioned above is Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), unless there is a contractual relationship with you. To the extent that there is no contractual relationship between the company and you, the legal basis for data processing is Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The transfer of personal data is necessary to establish a connection to the website and to display the website’s content.

5.2 Services

The legal basis for processing personal data for the purpose mentioned above is Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We provide our services within the framework of fulfilling contractual obligations. Without processing personal data, we cannot fulfill or execute the contract with you.
We store personal information for the following services available on our website:

• Newsletter

5.3 Google Analytics

The legal basis for the processing of personal data in connection with the use of Google Analytics is Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We need statistical information about how our online offerings are used in order to make them more user-friendly, measure their reach, and conduct market research.
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (hereinafter: Google). Google Analytics uses “cookies,” i.e., text files stored on your computer that enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie regarding your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the United States and stored there. However, due to the activation of IP anonymization on this website, your IP address will be truncated by Google within the member states of the European Union or in other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the United States and truncated there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google uses this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide other services related to website and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by Google Analytics as part of Google Analytics is not combined with other Google data.
You can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting your browser software settings accordingly; however, please note that in this case, you may not be able to use all features of this website to their full extent. In addition, you can prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) as well as the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: Browser add-on to disable Google Analytics.
In addition to or as an alternative to the browser add-on, you can prevent Google Analytics tracking on our pages by clicking this link. An opt-out cookie will then be installed on your device. This prevents future data collection by Google Analytics from this website and this browser as long as the cookie remains installed in your browser.

5.4 YouTube Videos

On some of our websites, we embed YouTube videos. The corresponding plugins are operated by YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you visit a page with the YouTube plugin, it will connect to YouTube’s servers. YouTube will be informed of which pages you visit. If you are logged into your YouTube account, YouTube can associate your browsing behavior with you personally. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account beforehand.
When a YouTube video is played, the provider uses cookies that collect information about user behavior.
Anyone who has disabled the storage of cookies for the Google Ads program need not expect such cookies when watching YouTube videos. YouTube also stores non-personal usage information in other cookies. If you wish to prevent this, you must block the storage of cookies in your browser.
For more information on data protection on “YouTube,” see the provider’s privacy policy at: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=da

5.5 Google Maps

This website uses the Google Maps API to visually display geographic information. When you use Google Maps, Google also collects, processes, and uses data regarding visitors’ use of map features. For more information about Google’s data processing, please refer to Google’s Privacy Policy. There, you can also modify your personal information in private.

5.6 Use of Script Libraries (Google Web Fonts)

To ensure that our content displays correctly and is visually appealing across all browsers, we use script libraries and font libraries on this website, such as: Google Web Fonts (https://www.google.com/webfonts/). Google Web Fonts are cached by your browser to prevent repeated loading. If your browser does not support Google Web Fonts or blocks access to them, the content will be displayed in a default font.
Connecting to script or font libraries automatically establishes a connection to the operators of those libraries. It is theoretically possible—though currently unclear whether, and if so, in which cases—that the operators of such libraries collect data.
The privacy policy for the library operator Google can be found here: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/

5.7 Issuu

Our website uses JavaScript code to embed a Flash application (Flash plugin) from Issuu Inc., 131 Lytton Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94301, USA (hereinafter: Issuu). This allows printed materials to be displayed as e-catalogs.
Issuu uses cookies that enable the analysis of how you use the website. Personal information such as your IP address, as well as information about the time and duration of the session, is collected and stored. This data is transmitted if you have enabled JavaScript in your browser. You can find further information about Issuu’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy at https://issuu.com/legal/privacy.
If the “Do Not Track” feature is enabled in your browser, external Issuu plugins will not be loaded without your consent, and only a reference to this option will be displayed.

6. Disclosure of Data

Your personal data will not be transferred to third parties unless this is necessary for the performance of a contract or you have given your express consent. For example, it may be necessary for us to disclose your address and order information to your wholesale partner or service provider. To the extent that we engage external service providers, they are carefully selected and, in accordance with Art. 28 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), are obligated to comply with all data protection provisions. (See Figure 5)

7. Use of Cookies

Our website uses cookies. Cookies are small text files that are stored in the user’s web browser or on the user’s computer via the web browser. When a user visits a website, a cookie may be stored in the user’s operating system. This cookie contains a unique text string that allows the web browser to recognize when the website is visited again. We use cookies to make our website more user-friendly, efficient, and secure. Cookies enable our system to recognize your web browser after you navigate between pages and allow us to offer you various services. Some services on our website cannot be provided without the use of cookies. These services require that your web browser be recognized after you navigate between pages.

Cookies are stored on your computer. You therefore have full control over the use of cookies. By selecting the appropriate technical settings in your web browser, you can prevent cookies from being stored or their data from being transmitted. Cookies that have already been stored can be deleted at any time. Please note, however, that this will prevent you from taking full advantage of the website’s functionality.

By following the links below, you can see how to manage cookies (or, for example, disable them) in the most popular web browsers:

• Chrome Browser: https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/61416?hl=en

The processing is carried out on the basis of Section 15(3) of the TMG (Telemedia Act) and Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in the aforementioned purposes. The collected data is pseudonymized using technical measures. It is therefore not possible to link the data to you personally. The data is not stored together with personal data relating to you.

You can adjust your cookie settings at any time, just as you can revoke any consent you have previously given at any time, effective immediately. To do this, click the “gray gear icon” in the lower-left corner of the website.

If you contact us via email or the contact form, the information you provide will be stored for the purpose of processing your request and any follow-up questions.

9. Newsletter

If you choose to receive the newsletter offered through the website, we ask that you provide an email address as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the email address provided and that you have consented to receiving the newsletter (double opt-out procedure). To personalize the newsletter, we store personal data about you, such as your title, first name, last name, and email address. We use this data to send you the requested information and to document your consent. Your consent to allow us to store your data and email address and use them to send you newsletters may be revoked at any time either via the link in the newsletter, through your user profile on Millarco, or by sending a written request to Millarco International A/S, Rokhøj 26, 8520 Lystrup, Denmark, millarco@millarco.com.

10. Statistical Analysis

We need statistical information about how we use our online services in order to make them more user-friendly, measure their reach, and conduct market research. To do this, we use the web analytics tools described in this section.

10.1 Google Analytics

Google Analytics is provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"). This analytics software is configured in accordance with data protection regulations. In particular, we use Google Analytics with the additional feature offered by Google for anonymizing IP addresses. In this case, IP addresses are typically truncated by Google within the EU and, only in exceptional cases, are transmitted to the U.S., where they are stored only in truncated form under all circumstances.

You can object to the collection or analysis of your data using this tool by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en

11. Data Security

Our employees and our service providers are bound by confidentiality agreements and comply with applicable data protection laws. The company will take reasonable technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information against loss, alteration, destruction, and access by unauthorized persons or unauthorized disclosure. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.
To protect the security of your data during transmission, we use state-of-the-art encryption techniques (e.g., SSL) over HTTPS.

12. Duration of Data Retention

We generally store your data for as long as necessary to provide our online offerings and related services, or as long as we have a legitimate interest in further retention (e.g., we may still have a legitimate interest in marketing even after the contract has been fulfilled). Data is deleted upon the expiration of the statutory or contractual retention periods (e.g., tax and commercial law periods). Data not subject to a retention obligation is deleted once the described purpose has been fulfilled.

13. User Rights

As a user of our website, you have various rights. Please use the information in the “Contact Us” section to exercise your rights. Make sure we can clearly identify you.

14. Rights to Access, Correction, or Deletion of Data

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation, you will receive written information about your data (e.g., name, address) at any time upon request and free of charge. Furthermore, you have the right to correct or delete this data, provided that the legal requirements are met. Exceptions to the right to erasure include, for example, stored data related to business processes that are subject to statutory retention obligations.

15. Right to Restriction of Data Processing
You have the right to restrict the processing of your personal data.

16. Right to Object

In addition, you have the rightto object, at any time, to our processing of your data. We will then stop processing your data unless—in accordance with legal requirements—we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for continued processing that override your rights.

17. Data Portability Act

In addition, upon request, we guarantee the transfer of the personal data you have provided by delivering it in a commonly used, machine-readable format.

18. Withdrawal of Consent

You have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data at any time, with future effect, which you have provided to us for one or more specific purposes. The lawfulness of the processing of your data up until the withdrawal remains unaffected.

19. Automated Processing of Personal Data

Your personal data will be processed exclusively by automated means only if it is necessary for the conclusion or performance of a contract, and this does not have any legal or similar effect on you.

20. Changes to Our Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy from time to time to ensure that it complies with applicable legal requirements or to reflect changes to our services, such as when we introduce new services. The new privacy policy will take effect on your next visit.
